MORE NEW CARDS

 Some more new designs which have whisked their way to Truly Scrumptious in Poulton. I have been working more with felt recently and am quite impressed/pleased with the results. I think the frog is perhaps a bit bright but that can easily be altered in future. I know some people over the summer were asking about teddy-bear cards and I have finally got around to making one! If you are interested in any of these cards either pop into Truly Scrumptious (by St Chad's in Poulton) or drop me an email or comment on this post- the possibilities are endless!

WORKS IN PROGRESS

 Hello again! Said I would be busy in January! Here are a few more pictures of what I have been working on recently. The first few are finished cards which will be going down to Laura.lovesboutique in Birmingham, the rest are works-in-progress and will be going down to Laura's shop and a few will be winging their way to Truly Scrumptious in Poulton. This is how my cards look once they are backed and simply waiting for the final touches (or main motif rather!) to be added. I quickly sketch out the design I want on each card, then blue-tac them to the other side, so I know which image is going onto which card. The owl card for example has a barn owl stamp hidden behind the lace. Any questions or if you would like a card making don't hesitate to get in contact! 

NEW NOTEBOOKS!

 Just a few notebooks I have been working on- all will soon be dropped off at Truly Scrumptious in Poulton, Lancashire if you wish to purchase one! CHRISTMAS COMMISSION!

Had such a busy term it was great to finally get around to finishing these off for the friend of a friend as Christmas Gifts. I am so pleased with how these turned out! I definitely like working in the black frames, it really sets the work off and picks out the detailing of the black thread. Keep an eye out for more work in January! Have a whole month off so am looking forward to doing some sewing in all that free time! Happy Crafting and Happy Christmas everyone!

MINI LEGO PANDA

Finally got around to building this birthday present, I should really be doing reading for uni but this is way more fun! I think he's adorable! Who wouldn't want a mini-lego panda? I intend to use him as a paper weight, although he isn't that heavy, but I am not expecting too many breezes in my room so I am sure he will be able to cope!

H@sta Magazine

My work is in this years edition of H@sta, the student magazine for Art History in St Andrews and I am so pleased! The Magazine looks great, really professional with some fascinating articles. I was even more pleased as I didn't realise my work was in it and was simply flicking through and squealed (something along the lines of 'that's me!'). I had sent the photos off but not heard back so completely forgot, it made a lovely surprise! I am now trying to get my hands on a few more copies- would love to send them to family and friends! I will definitely be sending some work in for next years edition, perhaps even try and write an article as well.
