Just a little something I made with Craft Society this week, a lovely little felt bag. I also learnt how to make those roses out of felt. It involves cutting a circle, then cutting it into a spiral and then rolling the spiral up and ta-da! A rose. I haven't put anything in it yet, at the moment it is just going to sit on my self next to Hubert (the sock bear, see previous post). Enjoy!

HUBERT THE BEAR
This is Hubert, yet another one of my sock creations. This time he is made from one purple knee high sock and one ankle green sock. I wanted him to be a little bit miss-match, teddy are the more adorable when they aren't quite perfect in my opinion. His buttons don't match either (although his eyes had to, otherwise he would just have looked silly!). He took a little longer than the shark and rabbits to create, and I over stuffed his tummy but I know for next time. I still think he's pretty cute! His arms and legs move, which I am quite proud of, he has multiple poses! He cannot, however, stand on his own (the pattern is meant to) but I think I made him a bit top-heavy and I don't think his chubby belly help. Still a success I think though!

IN ACTION
SOCK ANIMALS
I mentioned last year that more sock creations would be on the way and here they are! This was all one evenings work, from two pairs of socks; one knee high pair and one normal. The knee high pair made the great hammer-head shark (which I am really pleased) and yet another sock bunny. I am looking forward to making the kangaroo and teddy bear out of more knee high socks. These patterns are out of Sockology, which I got at Christmas and is a brilliant little book. However some of the patterns (such as the duck) turn out to be rather small and fiddly, but then they are made out of just one sock. Anyway, hope you enjoy them! I certainly enjoyed making them. Another evening well spent!

CARDS GALORE
After exams and a few weeks off (hence so few posts), I felt in a very crafting mood and decide to make a fair few cards. An evening or two well spent! All are being sent to Truly Scrumptious in Poulton and will be available to buy from there, if you so desire. A few are for Valentines day (the red roses- with my lovely new fabric) but seen as I am not a huge fan of Valentines day anyway, I decided not to go over the top! Hope you like them, any feedback would be much appreciated!
