SPRAY PAINTING

After experimenting with monochrome in sewing and emulsion printing, I thought I would consider stenciling and silhouetting work, especially since the photos of the pigeons worked so well. I love the birds on top of the telegraph pole and think they would adapt themselves really well and very easily to this technique. I also experimented with spray painting around feathers as well as working with my own stencils, these seen to be less effective, the birds look more isolated and alone. I went around one feather with black thread and think I could incorporate stitch and thread with the spray paints. Any thoughts or preferences? I would be greatful for any ideas!
