OVAL

I thought this development deserved a post of it's own, I layered up gradually, burning each layer and then sewing over the top. Thicker thread for the girl, as the thinner thread simply did show up so I shifted to embroidery thread, it gives a nicer outline and the only brown I had is this lovely rich colour. I don;t quite know what colour it is? Any suggestions? I would guess at reddy-brown but that doesn't sound very arty or pretty. Please bear in mind this piece is unfinished, should be done by tomorrow (or the end of the week!).
