STITCH AND MORE HOLLIE CALEY INSPIRED WORK

Just a few pieces that I have finally finished- I sewed quotes from The Secret Garden over the top of the layers, similar to the postcards/letters on my last post. In the last pieces (unfinished) I have begun to incorporate an element of realism, through the use of pressed flowers and the 'key to the garden' (rather than fabric as the flowers). I am still undecided as to whether or not to add some wax to these pieces, just pour a little onto the fabric. What do you think? I can't make my mind up, for now at least, I will regard the first two pieces as finished.
